How much is the delivery fee?
We all love surprises. But nobody likes hidden charges. Here at joi, we believe in being transparent and upfront. So the price you see, while browsing for that perfect gift for your loved one, is the same price you pay when you checkout for delivery between 9am -9pm, 7 days a week. For deliveries 5am-9am and 9pm-midnight, 7 days a week, there is an additional charge of 100dhs. If your request is well outside of our normal hours or delivery locations (ie separated by an ocean, 2am or the Moon), we will do our best to accommodate you, however there will likely be an additional fee that will be discussed and confirmed with you prior to your order being actioned.
Can I return an unwanted gift?
Huh? You don’t want a gift you say? That must be crazy talk! Just kidding, we know that sometimes people might not want the gift we are delivering for whatever reason (maybe you are just too mad for that ‘I’m sorry’ gift?). You can choose to return the gift to one of our Agents of joi, but we would also recommend you consider re-gifting. Perhaps you can turn your unwanted, into someone else’s happy? Unfortunately we aren’t able to offer a refund on gifts once they have been delivered in this circumstance.
What can I do if my Credit Card has been refused?
If your credit card is refused, you will receive an error message in real time. Please check with your bank to make sure you have appropriate funds and have no restrictions if you are ordering internationally. Please then try again. At any point, you can contact one of the joi Angels on 800joi (564) who can walk you through the necessary steps.
Can I pay over the phone for my order?
Whether you are digitally challenged or craving human contact, our joi Angels can easily process payments over the phone for you. You will need to provide your credit card details and go through the necessary security steps, as set out by your bank. The transaction is safe and secure.
What are the payment methods?
If we must talk money, we’d like to keep it short: Credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express. You can trust us, we use the latest technologies to ensure your payment information is safe.
What if the recipient cannot be reached at the provided address?
We will contact you again in hope that you can help us track down the recipient at an alternative address or with another contact number. joi will find a way, no matter what.
How do I know if my order has been delivered?
We will send an email confirmation that your order has reached the recipient. You can also track your order in the section titled “My Orders” on our website or in our app.
Can my order be delivered if I don’t know the exact address of the recipient?
Of course! You have gone to all the trouble of making someone happy, let us handle the rest! As long as you can provide us with a mobile number for your recipient, we will contact them to ascertain the best location and time for delivery of the item (we promise we won’t ruin the surprise either). Alternatively you can also provide us with a Google Map pin even if you don’t know the street name.
How can I check on my orders?
You can log on to www.joigifts.com/orders or use the joi app to check your order status in the section titled “My Orders”. If you feel like getting online is too much of an effort, please contact our joi Angels Customer Care team at 800joi (564).
What are your delivery timings?
Our normal delivery timings are 9am-9pm, 7 days a week. Of course, sometimes you need to surprise someone in the early morning or late in the evening – we can also help with that. Deliveries can be arranged from 5am or up until midnight, 7 days a week for an additional charge of 100 dhs.
What is joiCam?
One of the best things about using joi is the chance to spread happiness to loved ones, even when you can’t be there in person. We created joiCam so you could have the next best thing. It allows you to include a personal video or voice message for your loved one. You can record it at checkout and we will deliver it with your gift!
Can I amend or cancel my order after it has been confirmed?
We want to make your gifting experience as smooth as possible and we know that sometimes you might forget something or need to make a change. You can cancel or amend your order up until it has been prepared for shipping. We will keep you up to date with the process with email updates so you know exactly at what stage your order is. If you need to make any changes, please contact our joi Angels Customer Care team at 800joi (564).
Will the flowers be wrapped or in a vase?
We like to mix it up at joi, so some of our fabulous arrangements come as beautiful hand-tied bouquets and others in stunning vases ready for display. You can check how your selected flowers come in the product description. We may also be able to accommodate a request to have a bouquet put in a vase, simply call one of our joi Angels on 800joi(564)
Will the flowers be identical to the images on the website?
We like to think everyone and everything are unique and irreplaceable, but we also understand you don’t want tulips when you ordered roses! We make every possible effort to make sure each arrangement delivered matches the image on our site, although occasionally there may be some variation in shades of colors due to seasonal blooming patterns. Since we also deal with living things, occasionally one of merchants might need to make a change to the bouquet if one of the included items isn’t available. In these instances, we will be in touch with you directly to inform you of the situation and discuss your preferred solution, even if that means opting for a different bouquet.
Can I order over the phone?
If for some reason you do not want to order through our website or app, you can call 800joi(564) and one of our joi Angels Customer Care specialists will help you with your purchase.
What gifts can I order apart from flowers?
At joi we specialize in providing just the right gift for any occasion. You can choose from the freshest flower arrangements, gourmet cakes and treats, bountiful gift baskets, decorative and fun balloons, personalized jewellery and much, much more. We are always adding new items and exclusive holiday ranges so you can always find the perfect present.
Do I have to register to make a purchase?
No! You don't need to.
How do I redeem a discount code or voucher?
Yippee, well done on grabbing a discount code! All of our discount codes can be redeemed either on the website or via our app. Simply input the code at checkout, prior to putting in your billing information, and your total will recalculated once you press ‘Apply’ on the website or ‘Recalculate’ on the mobile app.
Where do you deliver to?
We currently deliver joi to Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah in the UAE and Jeddah, Riyadh and Medina in KSA. Please note that our delivery area is limited to the city limits of each of those locations (ie Al Ain is not included in our Abu Dhabi delivery reach). That said, we would love to help spread joi as much as possible, so if you do wish to deliver to a special area we can arrange it at an extra charge. Here are the current costs for special delivery areas in the UAE: Delivery to: *Ajman *Umm Ul Qwain, *Ras Al Khaima *Fujairah *Al Ain Minimum of AED 1000 plus AED 100 delivery charge Please note: All deliveries to Jebel Ali Free Zone will require our delivery agent to have a gate pass. Please make sure you are fully aware of the potential restrictions or requirements for delivery to this area and inform our team accordingly. If necessary, one of our customer service team will be in touch with the sender to provide details so a pass can be obtained. We may not be able to complete delivery of the gift without the pass.
Are there other ways to pay than online?
Our secure payment system on joi is definitely the easiest and most secure way for you to pay for any of our gifts. However, not everyone is able to do this and therefore there are a couple of other ways you can pay for your gift: Bank transfer: there is no minimum order amount for this, but the full payment must be received before your order will be processed. Western Union/Money Transfer: The minimum order for this is AED500 and must be directed to Dubai, UAE. Cash collection: This is only available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Jeddah and the minimum order amount must exceed AED 500 or 500 SAR
